Bugfix release

This release brings compatibility with PrestaShop version 1.7.8.x

Webhooks

This release brings new action: Execute Webhook

A webhook (also called a web callback or HTTP push API) is a mechanism that application can use to notify other web applications about some events.

With this action you can create advanced automations. For example

• you can send notification to your Slack channel when new order has been placed
• you can automatically add customer's email address to your mailchimp list when they register
• when new order is placed, you can notify Datakick module and it will generate xml/csv file with this order information
• and much more...

Other changes

• fixed bug with non-existing parameters

Features:

• New trigger: After conseqs rule - executed immediately after another rule. This allows you to chain your rules and create more sophisticated flows
• New trigger: Product purchased - this trigger is executed when your customer purchase specific product
• Recognize id_cart_rule columns as CartRule objects

• fixed annoying bug with saving 0 value inside number parameter

Package repository

There are some automations that almost every user using my module created. For example, everyone created their own version of reward for review rule.

Even though rule creation process is very simple and easy to understand, this repetition seems unnecessary. So I decided to come up with list of prepared solutions that you can simply import to your store and modify.

You will find new tab named Packages that will let you browse through packages stored on central repository. If you create some cool automation, please export it, and send it to conseqs@getdatakick.com. After careful validation and verification, I will add it to the repository

New conditions

There are two new conditions you can use to build your rules

• starts with - evaluates to true if text starts with specific prefix
• ends with - evaluates to true if text ends with specific suffix

Bugfixes

There is also one bugfix related to Award loyalty points action. Loyalty module for prestashop 1.6 / 1.7 contains a bug that resulted in error log being generated every time this action run. The action finished successfully, though. This issue does not affect thirtybees version of loyalty module

Emergency release

this version fixes serious bug that prevented usage of this module on prestashop 1.7

I've released new version 0.3.0

From feature point of view, this version brings only two new actions:

Create Voucher

you can now dynamically create vouchers for your customers example use case is to award your customer for posting review on your shop

Award loyalty points

this action is works with standard loyalty module, and it will appear only if you have this module installed and enabled it will allow you to give your customer additional loyalty points for their action for example, you can give them loyalty points for reviews, for page visits, etc...

Changes in licensing:

This version also changes licensing structure of this module. I decided to abandon trial-version model. Instead, I offer this as a free module with limited number of rules you can create. If you reach the rule limit, you will have to purchase license (or delete those you don't need).

I made this change because I believe module like this might benefit from big user base. My hope is that its users will create interesting integration and share them with other folks.

I'm happy to announce new version 0.2.0. This release brings new type of actions - one that can influence execution path of trigger code

  • for example, you can drop contact form notification emails

  • you can use this action to compose custom email subject
  • ideal for email personalisation
• Email: add BCC recipient
  • you can add new recipient to BCC
  • great way to send yourself copy of all emails sent from your store
• Email: attach file
  • you can dynamically attach file(s) to your emails
  • for example, you can attach product manual to Order Confirmation email
• Email: change recipient
  • you can use this action to change email recipient (to email address)
• Email: change email template
  • this action will allow you to use different email template to render email
  • You can use this feature to have different templates for different customer groups, for example

Measures

In previous versions of conseqs you could react only on real-time events, like when order was created or when customer visited some page.

Now, it is also possible to react when shop state changes. You can create measure informations like

• amount spend by customer in last 90 days
• number of days order is waiting for payment
• number of days before loyalty point expiration

And you can execute actions when these measurements change. For example, you can

• send reminder email to customer if order hasn't been paid in 5 days
• assign customer to VIP group if his purchases in last 90 days met the minimum criteria
• send email to customer if his loyalty points are about to expire
• and much more..

Possibilities are endless.
