Product date update field

Great module. We are importing stock levels and prices using the import xml feature. This import method does not update the "date update" field on the product though.

I have added a datetime field to the xml file and then during the import I can link the two together and that is great

The problem comes when updating products with combinations though. The upload process only allows us to select one table (so product or combinations). We select the combinations table but the combinations table does not have the product date update field

Any ideas how we can indicate the time the product has been updated when uploading combinations stock and price details?

Datakick module tries not to thing on behalf of its users. In some cases it's beneficial to change update field, in some cases it is not. I believe it's up to the user who creates import and/or mass update to specify if he want to modify date_updated as as well.
